John Richards Shopfitters is a privately owned family run business having been established in the late 1960's.
It is part of the Richards Group which provides a full shopfitting package with associated metal fabrication.
John Richards Shopfitters is headed by Peter Richards who is supported by his brother Paul and a very capable group of in excess of 100 employees, many of whom have been with the company for over twenty years.
JRS holds a unique position within the industry as one of the few privately owned family run businesses having both joinery manufacture in-house and also metal fabrication provided by Eden Engineering Limited, another company within the Richards Group.
JRS has been established for over 35 years and is recognised in the industry as a market leader through receipt of a number of awards. It operates, together with Eden Engineering Limited from a recently fully refurbished, 30,000sq.ft. manufacturing facility in Saltash, Cornwall.
With manufacturing facilities being based in the South West this provides JRS with a low cost manufacturing environment and a deep pool of highly skilled craftsmen, many of whom are drawn from the traditional naval shipbuilding facilities nearby. JRS maintains its national coverage by having project managers throughout the UK who ensure that each individual site is effectively managed and controlled.
Major investment has been made in the latest technology, including full CAD and laser cutting facilities. The Directors of this award winning company have a hands on approach and are committed to the long term future.
JRS is dedicated to working within set budgets to deliver cost conscious solutions to their customer's requirements.
